Plus we just love Hinterland - there’s a special Whakatauki (proverb) gifted from the local Ngati Whitikaupeka tribe on every jar To Aroha – which translates to From Hinterland with Love this was important so that they can share not only this extraordinary Organic Manuka Honey with everyone but also share the land and the people of Mokai Patea where all of this originates. 🤍

No summer day is complete without a delicious dessert at the end of it and these MANGO COCONUT LAYER BARS are one of our favorites! 🥭🥥 A #glutenfree almond shortbread is topped with a smooth and creamy coconut layer then finished off with a sweet mango purée. It’s frozen and then sliced into the prettiest bars ever 💛🧡 Even better - these bars are #glutenfree #dairyfree AND #vegan !! But don’t worry, the lack of allergens doesn’t affect the flavor at all.. Thanksgiving is less than a week away and my SWEET CORN TOMALITO is a dish that’s on the menu for us every year! 🌽 This recipe took me a while to perfect and now that I have, not a holiday goes by where it’s not on the menu! Three kinds of corn (corn, masa and cornmeal) are combined together with sweet sugar and butter (I never said it was healthy!) and baked slowly in a water bath in the oven for the most delicious and moist (I know, I said it) corn dish you’ve ever had 💛 Make some for your Thanksgiving dinner this year and I hope you love it as much as me!
